Better times!

GG's back to her normal self...all smiles!

A rough time....

Last week the only things that kept GG happy was stuff that she isn't allowed to play with, like the phone...
She had a miserable week with four molars pushing through at once!

GG and I visited a different botanical gardens yesterday on the other side of town. These garden walks are great for GG to use up all that non-stop energy she has! With the added bonus of viewing lots of lovely plants and wildlife.

Queen's Botanical Gardens

Yesterday GG and I visited my old local gardens, where I spent a lot of my youth playing just as GG did. I showed her the maze with the hidden bench seat in the middle and the water feature, which is very small to me now. I took her to see the very unhappy captive birds and we also saw the very happy wild birds throughout the gardens - she was very interested in chasing those!

Bruiser

GG had her first fall which made her bleed last night in where else but the bathroom! Yes she slipped while waiting to jump in the shower. She hit the side of the bath and her top teeth split her bottom lip. After crying off the shock she was back to playing with her bath toys (even with blood still going everywhere). Daddy gave her some ice to suck on in the shower and she was running around crazy again as soon as she got out. As you can see from the pictures below she's not phased at all! That's my brave girl!

 

 

 

 

Sunday getaway!

Last Sunday was Mummy's first day away from GG, yes, I spent the majority of the day without GG for the first time! We went over to Maggie with Leigh and spent our time snorkelling and enjoying the beautiful day. A special thanks to Nana and Pa Pa Joe for the day care!

Laughing along...

GG has taken to laughing just because people are laughing around her. It's so cute, you'll be laughing at say...something silly Josh has said and GG will stop what she's doing and laugh along!
