At it again...

What does this look like to you?

If you said a rose patch it's time for glasses. If you said a melted wheelie-bin you'd be correct. Thanks to some local destructive hoodlums I woke up to a blazing fire out the front of our house. A little shocked at what I saw out the window I called Josh. He convinced me to call triple 0 and get the police around asap. So I ended up having a visit from the fire department and the police. The firemen (yes all men) turned up first, but by this stage the fire was well on it's way to putting itself out. So there I was standing out the front with FIVE firemen while they put out the fire in two seconds flat with a trickle of water! The police were a disappointment and took some time getting here, but once they did they were very apologetic and reassuring. So that was my eventfully night, hope everybody else slept better!

There's no stopping her now!

Only a few days since starting walking GG's mastered the art and is ready to take on anything that comes her way. In fact she goes out of her way seeking trouble! Mum's going to be in for a fun time when the running starts!

Joker face!

Enjoying a lovely day!

Mummy and GG really miss Daddy when he's away, but we also love having the car and being able to enjoy a picnic down the strand and getting out and about on such beautiful days!

Mmm...ice-cream

GG walking in to order her ice-cream...

Not our baby anymore, an independent little lady!

September 9, 2007 will be remembered here at Schwarzlife as the day GG began her life of exploration......upright on two feet!
During a picnic lunch GG was told that Dad would be away all week, and armed with two fists full of sandwiches she decided to let Dad see how clever she really is. Initial distance covered was a good 10 meters. Terrain was flat but unleveled, GG was barefoot and the substrate was of sparse grass coverage with a high amount of sticks, twigs and leaves present.
Now if only we can manage to catch her and strap some boots on!

Congrats to Nikki and Tyla for the being the nearest winner in the First Steps Challenge!

On the go!

GG on an afternoon stroll surrounded by her bodyguards! Nanna to the left, Poppy at the rear, Daddy to the right and paparazzo (aka Mummy) in front. She sure knows how to strut her stuff, hopefully I'll have some video of her in action soon!

Happy Birthday Papa Joe!

The Schwarz Family would like to send out a very Happy Birthday to Poppy! We apologize for not having this post yesterday (the 1st of September) on your actual birthday. We hope you had a great day! We appreciate all your love, support and patience!

Mini Trains!

Last Sunday the Schwarz Family enjoyed a family day with Nana and Poppy at the mini train ride park. The trains are put on once a month by volunteers and I think it will become a monthly outing for us!
